Neighborhood
Birnam sits on the banks of the Tay alongside its twin village of Dunkeld, and there is a great deal within a few minutes' walk. The Birnam Reader is a much loved bookshop and cafe, Birnam Arts is directly opposite with a busy calendar of live music, theatre and exhibitions, and the Birnam Inn is at the bottom of the road. The bars, restaurants and independent shops of Dunkeld are a fifteen minute walk along the river, with Dunkeld Cathedral sitting beside the water at the far end of the village. For walkers, The Hermitage and its waterfall are a short drive away, and the Loch of the Lowes nature reserve is close by. The Birnam Oak, the last survivor of the wood made famous in Macbeth, still stands on the riverside path.
Guest Access
Guests will have access to the entire flat, located up the stairs in Westwood. Please note the other properties within the block will not be accessible to guests. The garden area is shared and guests are welcome to use throughout their stay.
